This Privacy Policy explains how Mofongo Street ("we", "us") handles information when you visit mofongost.com (the "Site"). The Site is informational: it shows our menu, our catering options and how to find our food truck. We do not sell anything or take payments on this Site.
Who we are
Mofongo Street is a Dominican street food truck and catering service. You can reach us by phone or on Instagram (see "Contact" below).
Information you give us
The Site has no contact forms, accounts or newsletter. When you call us or message us on Instagram (for example, to book catering), we receive the information you choose to share, such as your name, phone number, event date, delivery address and order details. We use it only to answer you, prepare your order and coordinate your event. Messages sent through Instagram are also covered by Instagram's own privacy policy.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider (Hostinger) automatically records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit and the date and time. This is used to keep the Site secure and working, and it is kept for a limited time.
We do not use advertising trackers.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser.
• You can browse the Site without accepting any cookies.
• If you play the YouTube video on the Site, YouTube may set its own cookies and collect information about how you use it (see "Third-party services").
• WordPress sets login cookies only for the people who manage the Site.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the Site will still work.
Third-party services
Some parts of the Site load content from other companies. When that happens, your browser connects to their servers and they may receive your IP address:
• Google Fonts (Google LLC), to display our fonts.
• Instagram (Meta Platforms), when you follow a link to our profile. Instagram's own policy applies there.
• Hostinger, our hosting provider, which processes technical data to deliver the Site.
• YouTube (Google LLC), to show a video about us. The video uses YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. When the page loads, your browser connects to YouTube (Google) to prepare the video player, which shares information such as your IP address. If you play the video, YouTube may set cookies and collect information about your viewing, and Google's Privacy Policy applies.
• olaClick, the online ordering service where you can place orders when you follow our "Order" links. Any information you enter there (such as your name, phone number, address or payment details) is handled by olaClick under its own privacy policy, not by this Site.
How we use information
We use this information to:
• answer your questions and manage catering requests;
• prepare and deliver your order;
• keep the Site secure and working properly.
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We only share it when it is needed to provide our services (for example, with our hosting provider) or when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep catering and order details only as long as we need them to complete your order and for our normal business records, such as accounting. Technical logs are kept by our hosting provider for a limited time.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we have about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Just call us or send us a message on Instagram. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law.
Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed.
